Check IHOP balance on official siteNeed your IHOP gift card balance? IHOP's checker sits on a stored-value portal behind a captcha, so it needs a real browser — here's the link, the steps and what to expect.
Check your IHOP gift card balance
IHOP hosts its lookup on wbiprod.storedvalue.com, protected by a bot filter (Kasada) and a reCAPTCHA. Open it in a normal Chrome or Safari window — automated or locked-down browsers get blocked.
- Open the IHOP stored-value balance page (button above) in a standard browser.
- Enter the card number.
- Add the PIN from the back.
- Clear the captcha, then submit.
What you'll need
- The card number, from the physical card or eGift email.
- The PIN, plus a normal browser to pass the captcha.
Other ways to check
- In any IHOP: your server or the host can run the card and tell you the balance.
- At the check: hand it over to pay and the remaining amount shows on the slip.
- Phone: IHOP gift-card support reads the balance from the number if the portal blocks you.
IHOP card shows $0?
Restaurant cards drain over a few breakfasts and the last couple of dollars get forgotten — a zero usually just means it's been eaten through. If it's a gift you never used and still reads empty, the card may not have been activated when it was sold; the receipt lets IHOP verify it.
What to do with an IHOP card you won't use
Simplest is to use it on a pancake run — or pass it to someone who eats at IHOP, since it regifts easily. Restaurant cards like this can't be cashed out through FlipGift: our escrow marketplace only handles shippable retail store cards (roughly 198 of them), and dining cards aren't among them. If you happen to be sitting on an unused retail gift card too, you can see which stores we cover.
