How to check your McDonald's gift card balance

McDonald's doesn't publish an online balance lookup for its Arch Card, so the reliable ways are in the app or in person.

  1. Add the Arch Card to the McDonald's app (Payment methods > add gift card) — the app then shows its balance.
  2. Or start an order in the app and select the card as payment; the balance appears.
  3. Or hand it to a crew member at any McDonald's and ask them to scan it.
