Check your Peet's Coffee gift card balance online
Peet's routes balance checks through its gift-card page rather than a standalone form, and the same card can be added to the Peet's app to track and reload it.
- Open the Peet's gift-card page using the button above.
- Find the balance/check option and enter the card number.
- Add the PIN or security code (in the eGift email, or on the back of a plastic card).
- Submit to see the amount, or add the card to the Peet's app to view it there.
What you'll need
- The Peet's card number (physical or eGift).
- Its PIN / security code.
Other ways to check
- In a coffeebar: a Peet's barista can scan the card and tell you the balance.
- In the app: load the card into the Peet's app to see the balance any time.
- On a receipt: the leftover amount usually prints after you order.
If the balance won't load
- Re-enter the number and code exactly; a single wrong character is the usual cause.
- A card bought recently may need a short time to activate.
- If the web page is fussy, adding the card to the Peet's app is a reliable alternative.
Why a Peet's card can read $0
Coffee cards are often loaded straight into the Peet's app, so a "$0" plastic card may just mean the value already moved into your app balance — check there first. Otherwise, small daily purchases empty a card quickly. A never-used card stuck at zero usually points to an activation miss at purchase, which Peet's support can look into with your receipt.
What to do with a Peet's card you won't use
The easiest option is to fold it into the Peet's app and let it cover your coffee runs, or simply regift it to someone who starts their morning with a latte. Coffee-shop cards like this aren't something FlipGift can buy or sell — our escrow marketplace only handles shippable retail-store cards. If you're holding one of those instead, you can browse the stores we cover.
