Sephora's gift card and payment pages set tighter limits than most stores, and they decide which buyer orders you can fill:
- Two gift cards per online order, at most. sephora.com won't take a third; only a Sephora store will. So combine at most two Sephora cards into one balance on FlipGift.
- Number and PIN. Online checkout needs the 16-digit card number and the 8-digit PIN. The card is charged first; any remainder goes on a debit or credit card or PayPal, never Klarna or Afterpay.
- Keep the card until the order arrives. If part of the order is cancelled, Sephora puts that amount back on the gift card.
- Mail returns become online credit on the account that ordered, which is yours. A problem with the buyer's item is therefore settled on the FlipGift deal, not with a Sephora return.
- sephora.com, not kohls.com. Sephora cards work in Sephora at Kohl's stores but not on kohls.com, and Sephora store merchandise credits can't be used online at all.
