YETI military discount: special prices on select items, and what they leave out
Updated September 30, 2026 · Reviewed by Kirill Novikov, FlipGift founder
Yes, but not as a flat percentage: YETI's ID.me program gives active military, veterans, first responders, nurses, medical providers, teachers and government employees special prices on select items only — on 30 September 2026 mostly 20% off named collections and colors, with a few items at 30% — on yeti.com or in YETI stores, for up to $10,000 of products a year. New releases, seasonal colors and limited editions are left out, and several of the listed items were already 20–30% off for everyone. Without verifying anything, someone holding YETI credit can place your order, new releases included, and you pay 8–40% less than the checkout total, with your money held in escrow until it arrives. Who qualifies
YETI's page names seven groups, each verified through ID.me: active military members and veterans, first responders, nurses, medical providers, teachers, and government employees. YETI's earlier version of the page spelled out the detail — for the military, "active duty, inactive reserves, veterans, retirees"; for first responders, police, firefighters, EMTs and 911 dispatchers.
Students are not on the list.
How it works
Online, verify with ID.me in your bag or at checkout — YETI asks you to do it on every visit — and the program prices appear as strike-through prices on the eligible items. In a YETI retail store, show government ID at checkout. It is for your own use only: YETI's terms say the program is not for buying for friends or family, and not for resale.
What it does not cover
- Everything not on the list. YETI states no fixed percentage; the discount is whatever the program page shows on the items it covers.
- New releases, seasonal colors and limited-edition products, and customization fees.
- International orders, taxes, fees and earlier purchases.
- More than $10,000 a year — over that, YETI may cancel orders and suspend you from the program.
- Other promotions, in some cases: YETI says the discount "may not be combined with certain other promotions".
Before verifying, check YETI's public offers page. On 30 September several of the collections on the ID.me list — Tropical Pink and Venom among them, and the 35 oz Rambler Straw Mug — carried the same 20–30% for everyone.
| Group | What you get | Verified by | Where |

The items the program skips
The new color that just dropped is exactly what the ID.me program leaves out. A seller holding YETI credit places your order on yeti.com and ships it to your US address, and you pay 8–40% less than the whole checkout — the cooler, the shipping and the tax — whatever the item and whoever you are. Your money is released only when you confirm the box arrived. How escrow buying works →
