CB2 Gift Card Balance — Gift Cards and Shop Cards

Two kinds of card, one form

CB2's balance tool takes either a Gift Card / eGift Card number or a Shop Card / eShop Card number, plus the 4-digit PIN. The distinction matters when you are hunting for the right page: a Shop Card is what a return produces, and people often assume it needs a different lookup. It does not.

The PIN is on the back of a physical card, or in the email for a digital one.

CB2 and Crate & Barrel are siblings, not one wallet

CB2 belongs to the same family as Crate & Barrel, and shared ownership makes people assume shared gift cards. Do not assume it — ask at a register or on the phone line before travelling to the other brand with a card. Shared ownership and shared acceptance are different things, and only the retailer can tell you which applies to your card.

Furniture-sized balances, delivery-sized totals

CB2 sells furniture, and furniture orders carry delivery charges that can be a meaningful share of the ticket. A gift card applies to what you are charged rather than to the merchandise alone, so the useful question before ordering is whether the balance covers the delivered total — not the sofa's list price.

When the form refuses

Confirm which card you are holding and that you have its full number. Enter the PIN by hand rather than pasting. Give a card bought minutes ago a few hours to activate. If the panel is damaged, the phone line or a store counter can read the card.

Zero on a card you have not used

One chair does it. Check the order that might have used it, then keep the purchase receipt if the card should genuinely be untouched — that is what customer service can trace.

If the room is already furnished

Design taste is personal and a card can outlast the plan.
