Why the search results are misleading

Type "zumiez gift card balance" and most of the first page is aggregator sites with a card-number box. Zumiez's own gift card help page has no such form. What to have ready

The card number, and the PIN if your card carries one — physical cards usually hide it under a scratch panel on the back, and an eGift card lists both in the delivery email. Read the number from the card rather than from memory: the phone system matches digits exactly.

Skate, snow and the gift problem

Zumiez sells to a specific taste — skate hardware, snowboards, streetwear brands that change fast.
