Where the answer comes from

Jared's own gift card page points balance enquiries to 877-676-5262, to any Jared retail location, or to Jared.com. There is no anonymous card-number box promoted on the site, so the phone line and the showroom counter are the dependable routes.

Third-party pages offering to "check your Jared balance online" are not Jared. What they collect is the number that spends the card.

The PIN-less card

A Jared card without a PIN cannot be used online, and its balance cannot be checked through an online form either. It still works in a showroom, and a showroom can move the value onto a card that carries a PIN.

Your receipt already has the number

The remaining balance is printed on the purchase receipt after the card is used. For a card that has been spent from before, that slip answers the question with no call at all.

Signet siblings are not one card

Jared, Kay and Zales belong to Signet. That is a corporate fact, not a redemption promise — check a card on the pages of the brand named on it, and ask at a counter before carrying one into a sibling store.

Showroom purchases are planned

Jared sells at price points where the card is one line in a larger transaction, often alongside financing or a custom design appointment. Knowing the exact balance in advance lets the consultant plan around it; discovering it at the counter does not.
