Kate Spade does not advertise its balance checker: it sits behind the Gift Cards link in the site footer. The card number and PIN are all it asks for once you get there.

From katespade.com, open Gift Cards — it is in the footer rather than the main navigation — and choose Check Balance. Enter the gift card number and the PIN if your card has one, and the balance is returned.

This page deliberately does not print a deep link. Kate Spade's balance tool does not have a stable, publicly indexed address of its own, and sending you to a guessed URL is how people end up on lookalike sites instead. Start from the brand's own home page and use the footer.
