Sell Your Dillard's Gift Card for Cash
Updated September 29, 2026 · Reviewed by Kirill Novikov, FlipGift founder
Sell your Dillard's gift card for cash without handing anyone the number or PIN. You use the card to pay for a buyer's Dillard's order, their money waits in escrow, and it's released to you when the order arrives — typically 72–88% of face value, against the 60–85% buy-back sites pay after taking the code.
Why Dillard's gift cards go unused
Dillard's cards concentrate in the South and sit idle without a store nearby.
Paying a Dillards.com order with your card
Dillard's FAQ has a few rules that decide which buyer orders you can take:
- Only cards with a PIN. Dillards.com accepts gift cards that have a PIN; an older card without one has to be exchanged first.
- eGift cards live in an account. A Dillard's eGift card works only through a Dillards.com account, and its funds apply when you log in, so place the buyer's order from that account. A physical card with a PIN also works at guest checkout.
- Mixing payments is limited. Dillard's names only a Dillard's Credit Card or PayPal as what a gift card combines with, and takes one U.S.-issued credit card per order. Take orders your card covers in full.
- Shipping limits. Fragrances, aerosols and alcohol-based products don't ship to P.O. boxes, military addresses or outside the continental U.S. APO/FPO addresses take everything except oversized or heavy items.
- Check the address first. An order can only be cancelled for a brief period after it's placed.
- Not for a Dillard's credit card bill or other gift cards.
How to sell your Dillard's card the safe way
- List your Dillard's card — brand and balance only, never the code.
- A buyer who wants department-store apparel from Dillard's pays for their order into escrow.
- You place their order with your card and upload the confirmation and tracking.
- When they confirm delivery, escrow pays you.
