How to Check Your Subway Gift Card Balance

Check your Subway gift card balance on the official Subway portal, plus how to use up or pass on a card you won't eat through.

Subway's balance lookup lives on the storedvalue.com system, which loads most reliably in a desktop browser. The card is physical with a scratch-off PIN; you can also load it into the Subway app to spend and earn rewards.

  1. Open the official Subway balance page above.
  2. Enter the card number.
  3. Enter the PIN from under the scratch panel.
  4. Submit to see what's left.

If the balance won't load

Try a laptop browser if the storedvalue page stalls, and re-key both numbers — a wrong digit is the usual cause. A new card may take a bit to activate.

Sandwiches, sides, and drinks chip a Subway card down quickly, so a forgotten order or two is the common reason for a zero. It's also easy to have moved the card's value into the Subway app, which then pays automatically.
