How to Check Your Uber Gift Card Balance
Add and track your Uber gift card in the Uber app — it's a code that loads to your account — plus what to do with one you won't ride out.
Check Uber balance on official siteAn Uber gift card isn't a scannable store card; it's a code you redeem into your Uber or Uber Eats account, where it becomes account credit for rides and food. There's no separate balance page — once added, the credit shows in the app's Wallet.
How to redeem and check
- Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and go to Wallet.
- Choose to add a gift card.
- Enter the code from the card or email.
- The credit lands in your account and shows in Wallet.
What you'll need
- Your Uber account.
- The gift-card code (card or email).
Other ways to check
- The Wallet section of the Uber and Uber Eats apps shows the current credit.
- Uber support can help if a code won't apply.
If the code won't redeem
A code works once — an error usually means it's already on an account. Re-check every character and confirm you're in the right region's app.
Shows nothing / already redeemed?
Uber credit attaches to whichever account enters the code first, so a "used" code means the value already sits in someone's Uber Wallet — there's no balance left on the card itself to recover.
Got an Uber card you won't use?
Since the value lives in an Uber account, the simplest moves are to redeem it on your own account for rides or Uber Eats, or send the code to a friend. FlipGift handles shippable retail cards, not ride-share credit, so we can't buy this one. If you hold an unwanted card from one of the ~199 stores we cover, you can check our marketplace.
